Founder and managing director of international public relations firm C. Moore Media, Claudine Moore recently sat down to speak with AFKInsider about her background, involvement in Social Media Week Lagos and Africa’s PR landscape. In the final segment of the interview, Moore expands on the advantages of running an international PR firm, the importance of local partnerships, and what most people don’t know about PR in Africa.

“We’re an international organization, so we’re used to working on an international level with international brands. Those international brands now need solutions on the continent. I think that’s the advantage that we have. We’re bringing international ways of thinking, culture thinking, philosophies, ways of working and work ethic to the table,” she said.

“I think it’s great if you’re a local agency — you know the local market way better than an international agency. To me, the best ways of working on the continent is in partnership — it’s not a case of going there and working in isolation.”
