10 Great Colorado Early Bird Ski Deals

10 Great Colorado Early Bird Ski Deals

1 of 11

It may only be Nov. 1, but the snow is falling in the Rocky Mountain high country and Colorado is gearing up for ski and snowboard season. Some resorts are already open; others open in the next few weeks. If you’ve been ready to hit the slopes since say July, then don’t delay. You know that saying the early bird gets the worm? Well it works for snow sports too with the best bargains found early in the season. Some require you to ski before the holiday season; others just want you to commit to your vacation by then.

1. Loveland
A local favorite, but less well known out of state, Loveland Ski Resort on the Continental Divide gets awesome powder and offers the best early-bird lift ticket deal around. On sale through Nov. 24, the “4-Pak” is $129 for four lift tickets that can be used any time (no blackout dates) during the 2013-2014 season. Best of all they can be used by four different people at once or on different days on the mountain. The purchaser doesn’t have to use all four like a traditional season pass.
