The Africa Brand Index has developed an algorithm which creates a list of the most successful brands on social media on the African continent, this list is in turn updated on a monthly basis. The algorithm takes into account key metrics such as community growth, content engagement, sentiment and response. This list takes into account African tech on social media.

10) Mustek
Mustek Limited is one of the largest assembler and distributors of personal computers and complementary ICT products in South Africa. This ICT supplier scored 18 in growth, 37 in content, 80 in response and 76 in sentiment. These scores see Mustek rated as the 10th best African tech brand on social media with a total score of 46.

9) LG Electronics South Africa
This supplier of innovative electronics in South Africa scored a 54 in growth, 63 in content, 36 in response and 9 in sentiment. With a total score of 47, LG Electronics South Africa is Africa’s 9th top tech brand on social media.

8) Snapplify
Snapplify is a digital publishing solutions provider that develop digital books app development, digital magazine apps, digital newspaper apps and video apps. The company scored 32 in growth, 31 in content, 81 in response and 77 in sentiment. Coming in at number 8 on this list, Snapplify had a total score of 48.
