Welcome To The Jungle: Rwanda’s Nyungwe National Forest Park

Rwanda is criminally underrated as a tourist destination in Africa. Set deep in the mountains of the country’s southwest, Nyungwe Forest National Park is the largest area of original montane rainforest left in East Africa — that’s forest growing at up to 10,000-feet altitude. The Congo-Nile is steep and difficult, and should not be undertaken lightly.
