  • AfriLabs To Hold West Africa Social Innovation Workshop In Nigeria

    Pan-African tech hub network AfriLabs has partnered the ICT 4 Social Innovation Network to host a West African workshop focusing on tech innovation supporting education, healthcare, and human rights. Founded in 2015 by SPIDER and Kenya’s iHub, the ICT4SI Network is a pan-African initiative connecting social innovators who use ICT for improved education and health solutions in local communities. AfriLabs and ICT4SI have partnered to host their first West African social innovation workshop.

    AfriLabs has further expanded its network of over 50 technology and innovation hubs across 20 African countries with the addition of 11 new hubs as members of the network. The new development sees the pan-African network of technology innovation hubs increase its membership base to Chad and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Other nations that increased their representation within the network supporting innovation infrastructure include Malawi, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
