Yaya Toure 90% Certain To Leave Manchester City, Agent Reveals

Cote D’Ivoire captain Yaya Toure is 90% certain to leave his English Premier League club Manchester City, according to his agent, Dimitri Seluk.

Toure has been at the club since 2010, and has played a crucial part in their two EPL titles in 2012 and 2014. His time at Man City has seen him perform at a very high level, dominating in midfield and often contributing in attack with a well-timed strike to win games for the club.

The agent spoke to Sky Sports News, revealing that his Ivorian client is the subject of strong interest from three main clubs, and he seems destined to leave The Citizens at the end of the current season.

“It’s 90% certain he’ll leave Manchester City this summer. Nothing has been decided – we are waiting until the end of the season,” he told Sky Sports.

Seluk went on to reference Toure’s birthday on May 13, and joke that he would bring his client a cake, reminding viewers of the controversy surrounding the Ivorian’s upset last year when his team seemed to forget his birthday.

“I have come to London to bring Yaya a birthday cake and I want to check that Manchester City buy Yaya a cake for his birthday too,” he added.

With two years still left on his current contract with the English club, one of the interested European teams at the negotiation table will need to step up and propose a solid offer to The Citizens in order to secure his services for the next season.

The clubs expected to make an offer include Serie A side Inter Milan and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
