Victor Wanyama has urged the Kenyan Football Federation (KFF) to end the disagreement over the administration of the Kenya Premier League.
The FKF have created their own national league following a bitter dispute with the current league administrators, the KPL, as to who should run the existing Kenyan top-flight.
Despite the controversy, the KPL have commenced league fixtures as planned, prompting threats from FIFA secretary general Jerome Valke to ban football in Kenya until the issue is resolved, saying: “We are not going to allow two leagues in the country.”
