A delegation of government representatives and entrepreneurs from Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) is due to visit Guinea-Bissau in the next few days to analyse new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, Cape Verdean weekly newspaper A Semana reported.

Prime Minister José Maria Neves said Thursday that education, health and nutrition were the priority areas of this Cape Verdean mission, moments after signing with his Guinea-Bissau counterpart, Domingos Simões Pereira, a number of protocols to mark out the future partnerships between the two countries.

Neves said the two countries could not waste any more time and must now, “relaunch cooperation in several areas,” and the first step was to send a government and business delegation “to continue these measures we adopted and, together with the Guinea-Bissau authorities, analyse new opportunities for cooperation.”
