Global Wealth Trade Corporation (GWTC), based in Canada, is extending its operations to Ghana this year.

With its focus on jewelleries, bags, shoes, clothing and other accessories, the company is expected to provide employment for Ghanaian women interested in accessories.

A sensitization workshop has already taken place in Accra to educate interested persons, particularly women, on the key roles they will play to ensure the success of the business in Ghana.

Speaking to the Daily Graphic in Accra, the Consultant for GWTC Ghana, Mr Culham B. Amengor, said the company was interested in helping to address the high rate of unemployment among women.
