Norwegian music duo Nico & Vinz sat down with AFKInsider to discuss their recently released album Black Star Elephant and the behind-the-scenes logistics of the global music industry. The pair elaborated on their experiences, which thus far include nabbing a record deal and a few partnerships. In part one of the interview they discuss their African roots and shooting the video for their song “Am I Wrong?” in Botswana.

“We wanted a music video that enhanced the movement — the vibe that the song gives you. A lot of people say the song makes you want to dance, makes you want to move, it gives you the feeling of warmth. Where do you find that? You go to Africa,” Nico said.
