Global Linkages, a management and consulting firm, which spearheads sustainable partnership deals for businesses, governments and organizations has been operating for nearly two decades. Principal Lorna K. Johnson recently sat down with AFKInsider to discuss the firm’s work and transitional focus. In the final part of the interview, Johnson elaborates on the varying business environments in Africa and dispelling stereotypes.

“What we really do is work against stereotypes that people have and we try to alleviate fear. This goes from what the inoculations are — people think they’re going to get Malaria if they drink the water,” Johnson said. “There are concerns that one has to have when you travel that far. We think that’s our biggest issue — convincing people.”
