Lagos, Nigeria is ready to birth its tourism sector as its potential as a powerful economic driver has been realized.
As part of the plan to develop the commercial capital of Nigeria’s tourism sector, the governor of the state commissioned Eko Signature, a five star addition to the Eko Hotel group, to encourage investments into the state’s tourism sector.
“I think it’s another addition to the footprint of increasing investments in Lagos, growing the economy of the state and the country, particularly taking advantage of an emerging and expanding tourism business in the state,” Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola told CNBC Africa.
