Angola, Portugal Partnering to Attract Investors

The Angolan Foreign minister, Georges Rebelo Chikoti, said Tuesday in Lisbon he wishes for Angolan investments in Portugal, alike the Portuguese investors do in the country, adding this is a due opportunity for businesspeople to find a place on each others side.

The Angolan minister said he was informed of the existence of a “high level of Angolan businesspeople in Portugal, many of whom bought some factories, invested in certain sectors and there are others who are interested to invest.”

“There are also Portuguese businesspeople investing in Angola and this is the way we can boost sectors that we do not dominate, so the country can get consolidated and export,” he added.
