Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Makes Transfer Decision

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has made a final decision concerning his immediate club soccer career, following a great deal of interest in his signature from sides all over Europe.

Interest in the player is at an all-time high, with excellent performances for club and country raising his profile among the elite European clubs who are strengthening their teams ahead of the next season.

The talented attacker, and current African Player of the Year, has decided to remain at German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, despite the selection of potential suitors vying for the player.

Wanted: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The likes of Arsenal and Manchester City are keen to bring Aubameyang to the English top flight, while Real Madrid are the latest team to show an interest in the 27-year-old.

His 25 goals in 31 Bundesliga games last term ensured his status as a major transfer target this European summer, but his German club are reportedly holding out for a transfer fee of around $95.8 million, according to TheMirror.

To the disappointment of the clubs who are after his services, recent developments suggest that the player may have opted to remain in Germany with his current club.

German media are reporting that Aubameyang has resigned himself to the fact that he will likely be a Dortmund player for yet another season, and is pleased to continue his journey with the Bundesliga club.

This means that Signal Iduna Park may continue to see the talented Gabon attacker in the next campaign, but according to Bild, Dortmund will not block a transfer for the player if a club matches their asking price.

The club management is actively seeking options to replace the African star in case his transfer becomes a reality, but they are hoping to be able to hold on to their exceptional striker for the new season.
